While the Midlands Constables’ Association does not indorse or sponsor any specific insurance or policeman benefit association, it is STRONGLY encouraged for each Constable to obtain and maintain personal liability insurance. The Midlands Constables’ Association does not employ the services of any person or business for legal advice and therefore does not offer legal advice.
The following are a few benefit organizations or associations that offer personal liability insurance. There may be other organizations or associations that offer similar benefits, but these are the ones that are common in this area. Each Constable should investigate the merits, costs, coverage, benefits, and other details to select at least one to help protect yourself from certain liability issues specific to law enforcement.
